About W.L. "Bill" Brown
Bill Brown was born and raised in Kingman County. He was a farmer-stockman and a WW II Vet. Bill was orphaned at a young age and spent his school years living with families in Southern Kingman County. He worked for them in exchange for room and board. He was a graduate of Kingman High School and attended 1 semester at Hutchinson Community College. He married, raised 3 daughters, and spent his years farming West of Kingman until retiring in 1982. Bill loved the land and believed in family, hard work, doing it right the first time, and the value of education beyond high school.
