About Dennis
Dennis Larkin was a 1982 graduate of Medicine Lodge High School. After high school he stayed in Medicine Lodge and started a Contract Pumping Business with his wife Debbie. They have 3 children, Andy, Kayla, and Breanna, all graduates of MLHS. Dennis loved following his children’s activities in high school and was a proud supporter and sponsor of many teams and events. He passed away in August of 2021 and this scholarship is his way of still supporting local graduates of Medicine Lodge High School.
Scholarship Requirements:
- Must be a graduating senior of Medicine Lodge High School.
- Must report a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Must intend to pursue full-time studies at a trade school, community college, or four-year university.
- Must participate in two extracurricular activities.
- Must supply two letters of reference (non-family members).
- Financial need is a requirement of this scholarship.
South Central Community Foundation Requirements:
1. Must upload two letters of recommendation.
A. School teacher (any subject)
B. Community member (someone who knows you outside of school)
2. Must upload ACT/SAT scores.
3. Must upload high school transcript or if a current college student must upload college transcript.
Failure to complete any of these requirements will disqualify your application from consideration.
