2025 Grantee Update

"This SCCF grant allowed our FFA members and 4th-grade pals to package over 6,000 meals for the local foodbank. The entire 4th grade worked with 8 high schoolers to package the meals in under 3 hours. These meals were then delivered to the Northern Rice County Foodbank. During this project, students were able to work together to fulfill a need in our community. Some of the meals stayed at the elementary school to be handed out as needed. The excitement from the students being able to positively impact their community was a neat addition to this project."

Robert, who manages the foodbank, said, "Thank you so much for donating and providing us with shelf-stable meals that have protein in them. Our patrons greatly appreciate them."
