SCCF Grant Selection Underway for 2026 Funding

A lot of work happens behind the scenes before SCCF grants make their way into local communities.

This year, South Central Community Foundation (SCCF) received nearly 160 grant applications from organizations across its seven-county service area. Helping review those applications and select projects for funding were 60 community volunteers who generously gave their time, experience, and thoughtful consideration to the grant process.

Together, SCCF’s grant committees helped award over $185,000 in funding to projects that will make a difference across South Central Kansas.

"SCCF is grateful to each volunteer who served on a grant committee this year." said Hannah Brummer, SCCF Program Director. "Their time and commitment make it possible for SCCF to carefully consider the needs and ideas coming from communities throughout the region."

Applicants will be notified of grant decisions soon, while SCCF’s public announcement of the 2026 grantees will take place later this fall.
