October 26 Seconds Series: Where do you fit in?
As part of its monthly 26 on the 26th series, the South Central Community Foundation (SCCF) is inviting community members to consider where they fit into the work of strengthening their communities.
There is no single way to give or get involved with SCCF. Some donors choose to support an existing community fund, while others establish a fund of their own. Others support scholarships, local grants, nonprofits, or causes that are personally meaningful to them.
For some, involvement may look like volunteering, serving on a local board, or simply learning more about what is happening in their county.
That flexibility is one of the strengths of a community foundation. SCCF works with individuals, families, businesses, nonprofits, and community members to find ways to turn what they care about into meaningful local impact.
“Everyone has something they care about, and there isn’t one right way to make a difference,” said Holly Launchbaugh, Executive Director of SCCF. “Our job is to help people find the opportunity that feels right for them.”
As SCCF looks toward the final months of the year, October’s 26 on the 26th message is a simple invitation: Where do you fit in?
This is SCCF—connecting generosity with values.
