Kelly Duncan Memorial Scholarship

About Kelly Duncan      

Kelly was born in Wichita, Kansas on October 3, 1960 to Roy and Helen Duncan of St. John, Kansas.

During his school years, Kelly played the trumpet in the band and pep band; was a member of Kays Community service club, participated in basketball, cross country, and track along with F.H.A. He graduated from high school in 1978. He also graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwestern College in 2004. Kelly worked for Honeywell International as an avionics technician.

Kelly was married and had two daughters, Shannon Duncan, born in 1995 and Kacey Duncan born in 1997.

Kelly was an avid fisherman and hunter. He won several bass tournaments in Kansas and Oklahoma. He enjoyed teaching his daughters how to fish and loved watching the Kansas City Chiefs too. He enjoyed helping others. Kelly was a multiple sclerosis warrior for many years of his life.
