2026 GUIDELINES

Scholarship Award                      

"The Youth is Our Future." - Ott Beagley

A $500 nonrenewable scholarship may be awarded to the top male and top female applicant.

Scholarship Requirements:

1. Must be a senior who will graduate from USD 254, Medicine Lodge High School the year the scholarship is awarded.
2. Must have at least a 3.0 Grade Point Average.
3. Verification of ACT scores.
4. Attach parent/guardian(s) most recent tax return. (Please blackout social security numbers.)
5. Must include summer work record.
6. Two letters of recommendation are required (cannot be family members).
7. Must be enrolled full-time in post-secondary education as defined by the institution of the student’s choice.
8. Priority given to an applicant with an agriculture or rodeo background and/or pursing agriculture related degree.

South Central Community Foundation Requirements:

      1. Must upload two letters of recommendation.

           A. School teacher (any subject) 

           B. Community member (someone who knows you outside of school)

      2. Must upload ACT/SAT scores.

      3. Must upload high school transcript or if a current college student must upload college transcript.

Failure to complete any of these requirements will disqualify your application from consideration.
