About Pat
Pat Dixon was an accomplished musician from Kingman. She taught for 23 years as the K-8 Music Teacher in the Kingman Schools, and served as the Music Director at the Kingman Methodist Church for 40 years.
She was honored to direct numerous students at State Honor Choir, and in competition her school choirs regularly received highest marks.
As the Church Music Director, she conducted the Chancel Choir, Children's Choir, and several Community Choirs. Her Children's Choirs performed numerous times at state wide concerts and conferences. They also performed on a Christmas Eve radio broadcast on a Wichita radio station. Through the years, several hundred students were members of the Church Children's Choir.
Pat was an accomplished pianist, and also a member of a musical trio, the Grace Notes. The Grace Notes performed for many local groups and recorded a CD of their "greatest hits".
