About Tony
“I have lived just a few miles from Sterling all of my life. I graduated from Sterling High School with the class of 1951.
I attended Kansas State University for two years and then the Army for two years before graduating from KSU with a BA in Animal Husbandry.
I attend many High School activities and enjoy working with kids. I was Beef Superintendent at the Rice County 4-H Fair for 30 years.
I have no kids so I look forward to helping young people all that I can.” -- Tony Renollet
Scholarship Requirements:
- Must be a graduating senior from Sterling High School (KS).
- Must plan to attend Kansas State University or Sterling College (priority will be given to students attending KSU).
- Must answer the essay question: How has living in Sterling, KS impacted your life?
- Must submit High School transcript.
South Central Community Foundation Requirements:
1. Must upload two letters of recommendation
A. School teacher (any subject)
B. Community member (someone who knows you outside of school)
2. Must upload ACT/SAT scores.
3. Must upload high school transcript or if a current college student must upload college transcript.
Failure to complete any of these requirements will disqualify your application from consideration.
