2023-2024 STRATEGIC PLAN

[excerpt from page 3 of the Strategic Plan]

Dear South Central Kansas Communities,

Welcome to our newly created Strategic Plan for 2023 to 2024!

Thanks to a very challenging past few years, the Board of Directors and staff were eager to create a plan that allowed flexibility but also equally focused on creating lasting change in our seven county service area.

As a regional Foundation, we recognize the many communities we serve and hope to help with their similarities while also appreciating their differences.

This plan was designed by our Board of Directors, staff, and input from many community members over the past year. We crafted this plan with measurable goals in mind and hope you enjoy reading through our intention!

Thank you for your continued support of SCCF and please let us know if you have any questions or input for the Foundation's goals.

Sincerely,

Seth Filbert, SCCF Board Chair

Holly Launchbaugh, SCCF Executive Director

2022 LISTENING TOUR REPORT

[excerpt, page 4 of the Listening Tour Report]

South Central Community Foundation created a Strategic Plan for 2019-2022. With the final year approaching quickly, the SCCF Board elected to host summer listening tours to gather input from the seven counties the Foundation serves including: Barber, Comanche, Kingman, Kiowa, Pratt, Rice, and Stafford.

SCCF has a mission of “Assuring a Bright Future for South Central Kansas” since 1994 and realized an in-depth review was a high priority.

With the current staff focus of donor funds, grants, and the Youth Making a Difference program, SCCF hoped that the summer listening tours would provide insight to where the Foundation is achieving great results and where the next Strategic Plan should focus our resources and energy.

We hope you find the discoveries mostly predictable but encouraging for the future of South Central Kansas. We make a promise to continue seeking input and suggestions as we adapt to our changing environment.
