Fred and Nancy Kerr Partner with SCCF to create a Renewable Scholarship
South Central Community Foundation (SCCF) is excited to announce a new scholarship created by local community members, Fred and Nancy Kerr. This opportunity is available to any student graduating high school this year in SCCF’s service area, which includes Barber, Comanche, Kingman, Kiowa, Pratt, Rice, and Stafford Counties.
“Fred and Nancy aimed to make a large impact for local seniors,” said Holly Launchbaugh, SCCF Executive Director, “with the cost of higher education constantly being discussed, this is an incredible honor to partner with the Kerr family to help lessen the burden for our rural students.”
SCCF would like to note that if a student has already submitted their SCCF Scholarship application, they will automatically be added to consideration for this new opportunity. All other students are encouraged to submit their application by next Wednesday, March 15th to be considered for this scholarship and the other 42 opportunities available to the Foundation’s service area.
