SCCF Awards Nearly $150,000 in Annual Grant Cycle

Posted Tuesday November 23, 2021

South Central Community Foundation (SCCF) was excited to award nearly $150,000 in community, children’s health, teacher’s, and Pratt County Achievement Place grants. Covering seven counties, SCCF’s goal is to reach many different sectors of each community, hopefully making a large impact with limited funding.

“This is one of our favorite seasons of the year,” said Holly Rooks, SCCF Executive Director. “It’s such an incredible feeling seeing this impact grow each year thanks to the skilled planning from our Foundation’s Founders and SCCF Board Members.”

This annual grant cycle opens June 1st of each year with a deadline of August 31st. The Foundation offers 3 grant opportunties to all seven counties in the form of a $5,000 Children's Health Grant, Community Grant, and a Teacher's $100 Grant.

Pratt County was also the lucky recipient of a new annual opportunity sponsored by the Pratt County Achievement Place for Youth Development Projects or Programs.
