Nonprofit Spotlight - Iroquois Center for Human Development

Posted Monday April 18, 2022

Did you know that 1 out of 4 people will struggle with stress, anxiety, and/or depression?

The Iroquois Center for Human Development is a community behavioral health center located in Greensburg, KS. This center opened in 1968 by a group of creative and energetic people who wanted to help those struggling with brain disorders, emotional disorders, and substance use disorders in Clark, Comanche, Edwards, and Kiowa counties. This facility has proved the idea that people could be treated more successfully in their home community rather than sending them away for institutional care.

“The Iroquois Center services include but are not limited to: outpatient therapy for persons of all ages, medication services via our psychiatrist, rehabilitation services for adults and children/families, substance use services, and 24/7 crisis services,” said Ric Dalke, Iroquois Center Executive Director.

The Iroquois Center for Human Development also provides Mental Health First Aid programs as requested. If you or your organization is interested or would like more information, please contact (620) 723-2272.
