About Mary A. Brown
Mary Brown was a native of Kingman County. She spent her younger years on a farm near St. Leo and was a graduate of Kingman High School. She graduated from the Wichita Hospital School of Nursing and worked at Kingman Memorial Hospital for many years. She married, raised 3 daughters and lived on a farm West of Kingman until retiring in 1978.
Mary loved nursing and believed in family, hard work, and the importance of education beyond High School.
